Portrait of Miljana Jovanović-Nasković, founder of Just Art agency

Miljana Jovanović-Nasković

A certified art manager and journalist with experience in media and internet marketing, on the threshold of her 40s she decided to turn her passion for art into a life's calling. Her love for all art forms, especially performing arts, sparked the idea of bringing art back to every man, woman, and child in this alienated world – where art is often pushed aside as the last need that people satisfy.

To ensure that the voice, movement, and sound of artists can be heard and seen – in metropolitan cities as much as in small towns, in the diaspora, in the world – everywhere that the culture of the Balkans is nurtured and proudly presented.

Over time, Miljana tried her hand at several forms of art (music, dance, acting), and learned about others through art history at university and during travels across Europe (painting, sculpture). However, she leaves the actual practice of art to professionals:

"I will do what I know best and what I ultimately studied for – to organize, manage, mediate, produce the creation and distribution of an artwork on stages across the country and the world."

Miljana is a mother of two girls, a "programmer's wife," and a millennial who has enough knowledge, experience, and connections to prove herself as an art manager. She consciously chose a field where one must continuously learn about the channels through which performing arts are presented to younger audiences.
